Day 1. Hanoi – Mai Chau . 180km (Full day drive – Family Resort)
– 8:00AM: Meeting at your hotel and transfer by bus to Vietnamontrails Garage, from here you will take the car and start your first day drive to Mai Chau village.
– First half of the day driving on smooth road, then small twisty dirt road up in the high mountain. Stop for Lunch picnic in a local Thai village. In the afternoon, drive along the spectacular Da River through bamboo forest.
– Dinner and overnight at a beautiful small resort with a spectacular view over the rice field of the Thai peoples.

Day 2. Mai Chau – Hoang Mai Town. 300km. (Full day drive – hotel 4**** star standard)
– Whole morning we drive on smooth roads until Tam Coc, Ninh Binh. After enjoying lunch in a local restaurant, we take a short boat trip (1hr) to discover the famous Tam Coc river, incredible landcape and amazing daily life of the local people. This place also called Halong Bay on land.
– Afternoon drive on smooth highway all the way to Hoang Mai town where we spend the night at a hotel.
– Dinner and overnight at hotel
Day 3. Hoang Mai – Phong Nha. 270km (Short day drive – 3*** stars standard hotel)
– Driving on easy smooth highway for about 1hr, then meet the historical Ho Chi Minh road all the way to Phong Nha – Ke Bang, the biggest and most beautiful cave in Vietnam and Indochina, it’s now a UNESCO World Natural Heritage site.
– Lunch in a local restaurant, then enjoy the drive on the beautiful smooth twisty Ho Chi Minh road until we meet the litle town of Phong Nha. Upon arrive at the hotel, We take a boat trip to discover the beautiful Son river and its massive cave.
– Dinner and overnight at a small family hotel located by the Son river.
..Phong Nha-Ke Bang National Park is located in the middle of the Annamite Mountain Range in Quang Binh province, Viet Nam, and shares its boundary with the Hin Namno Nature Reserve in the Lao PDR to the west. Day 4. Phong Nha – Vinh Moc Tunnels – Dong Ha 240km (Full day drive – 4**** standard hotel)
– Enjoy the drive on the historical western Ho Chi Minh Trail towards the former DMZ, which were sprayed heavily by Agent Orange during the Vietnam War. The beautiful quiet road will take us up and down over many high passes until We meet a small village where we stop for a simple lunch. Continue the drive all the way down to the low land where we make a visit to Vinh Moc Tunnels and the former border between North/South Vietnam during the Vietnam War.
– Dinner and over night at a hotel by the river.
Day 5. Dong Ha – Khe Sanh – A luoi – Hue. 190km (Full day drive – 3*** stars standard hotel)
– Driving all the way uphill toward the highland region where we stop to visit the former US Air base of Khe Sanh. Continue the drive on the beautiful Western Ho Chi Minh road until A Luoi village, where We stop for lunch at a local Family.
– Afternoon, drive downhill until the beautiful city of Hue (Former capital of Vietnam) which lies along the banks of the Perfume River. Dinner and overnight at hotel

Day 6 Hue – Hoi An, 150km (Half day ride – 3*** stars standard hotel)
– In the morning, we take a visit to the old Citadel, King’s Tomb, then boat trip on the perfume River.
– Return to the hotel for check out and continue the drive to Hoian.
– Drive though rice fields, fishing villages and discover the oldest and most beautiful cemetery of Vietnam. Drive over the beautiful moutain pass that called Cloudy pass.
– Dinner specialities of Hoi An. Overnight at a beautiful boutique hotel.
Day 7. Hoi An (Relaxing)
– Whole day, free time to relax or shopping.

Day 8. Hoi An – Kon Tum (Full day drive – hotel 3*** standard)
– Leaving the lowland, we head up today to the western highland region. The spectacular mountain roads lead us up and down over many high passes until Kon Tum, the country of the highland peoples
– Discover the western Ho Chi Minh roads with many stories and memories.
– Lunch on route. Dinner and overnight at a small hotel in Kon Tum.
..Kon Tum City is the capital city of Kon Tum Province in Vietnam. It is located inland in the Central Highlands region of Vietnam, near the borders of Laos and Cambodia. Historically, this area has been inhabited by the indigenous Ba Na people, which led to the name Kon Tum, meaning “Village by the Lake” in the Ba Na language. Its unique location features flat and fertile land, enriched by the Dak Bla River, and a convergence of various ethnic groups over time. Day 9. Kontum – Buon Me Thuot. 250km (Full day drive – hotel 4**** standard)
– Another day drive filled up with beautiful highland and valley views.
– Discover the daily life of the highland people along the border of Cambodia. Experience driving on all kinds of roads/trails/tracks though the coffee, rubber trees, and cashew nuts farming lands
– Lunch on route. Dinner and overnight at hotel.

– Continue our drive along the Western mountains range. Mixture of small dirt tracks and good open roads, spectacular hilly and twisty roads all the way to Dalat, the biggest hill station and most important City on the Southern Highland Vietnam.
– Dinner and overnight at hotel.

Day 11. Da Lat – Nam Cat Tien Nature Reserve. 250km (Full day drive – Family bungalow 2** standard)
– Leaving the highland region, We drive all the way downhill to the last Natural reserve of Vietnam, before getting to the busy civilized City of Saigon. Mixture of smooth road and dirt tracks through the coffee, cashew nuts, rubber trees forest and farm land. Lunch in a small local restaurant.
– Dinner and overnight at a family bungalow.

Day 12. Nam Cat Tien – Sai Gon. 180 km (Full day drive – hotel 3*** stars standard)
Mixture of good road and sometime small dirt tracks. River ferry crossing, cashew nut farms, rice fields and all the countryside life of the Southern people.
Drive to the finish point before arriving in Saigon where we say goodbye to the cars. You will be transferred by bus 20km to the hotel in Sai Gon.

Deposit and Payment
Deposit can be settled by cash or wire transfer 90 days at least before the departure. The balance can be paid by cash or credit cards upon your arrival in Vietnam.
Amendment
There is no fee for any change or amendment you make prior to your final confirmation. Otherwise, amendment or cancellation fees may be charged (subject to Vietnamontrails tour supplier policy). Because we will launch the booking reservation immediately after we receive your final confirmation and starting from that point, service’s amendment/cancellation fees may be applied by our local service providers such as hotel, restaurants, airlines companies…
